With clients ranging from corporations, partnerships and entrepreneurs to family offices, investment companies and individual investors, Amy Lott focuses her practice on structuring a wide variety of transactions, including stock and asset acquisitions, mergers, private placements, joint ventures and financings. Many clients also rely on Amy as their outside general counsel to advise on tax-efficient entity structuring, investment vehicles, regulatory compliance, business disputes and day-to-day contracting, operational and governance matters. Amy is currently a member of the firm's CARES Act Task Force, which was formed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amy’s diverse skill set and resources give her the flexibility to work with domestic and international clients of all types and sizes spanning a number of industries, including energy, real estate, healthcare, banking, investment management, mining and refining, food and beverage, manufacturing and software. She also has deep experience in the aviation industry, primarily focused on advising commercial and charter airlines, as well as individual aircraft owners, on a variety of transactional and operational matters, including the acquisition and lease of private aircraft, general commercial transactions and FAA regulatory compliance.
By leveraging her broad experience and gaining first-hand knowledge of each client’s business, Amy provides valuable counsel to directors, executives and business owners on how to proactively resolve corporate governance issues and maintain compliance with strict regulatory frameworks. In addition, Amy’s clients value her ability to guide them through each phase of a deal from concept to post-closing and give them confidence that they’re making the right decisions every step of the way.
