Rachel Hershkowitz Hopson
Staff Attorney

Rachel Hershkowitz Hopson focuses on all aspects of trust and estate planning and administration for individuals and families. She advises clients on estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes as well as the implementation and administration of complex estate planning structures, entity formation and business succession planning. An important part of her practice involves counseling clients in order to balance the desire to preserve and efficiently administer wealth with the desire to leave wealth to future generations in a manner that encourages productivity and positive decision making. Rachel is Board Certified in Estate Planning & Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

In addition to planning, Rachel advises and assists fiduciaries and beneficiaries through each phase of the administration process for both modest as well as large and complex trusts and estates, including gathering and appraising assets, preparing and filing estate tax returns, distributing assets to beneficiaries, and funding of trusts.

Prior to attending law school, Rachel worked in the healthcare field, where she worked closely with patients, as well as managed and monitored quality control matters. Rachel’s compassion and caring are invaluable to her clients.
