Anna Virene serves as Gray Reed's Banking Practice Group Leader. With clients ranging from regional and national financial institutions to private lenders, Anna focuses her practice on structuring and negotiating a variety of secured and unsecured commercial lending transactions across a myriad of industries, including loans to operating companies, energy sector lending, equity and asset acquisition financing, bridge-to-call loan facilities, Ex-Im Bank (Export-Import Bank of the United States) financing, loans to not-for-profit institutions, railcar financing, floor plan financing, equipment financing, and acquisition, construction, and renovation real estate loans. Her experience includes representation of lenders in bilateral facilities, as well as administrative agents and syndicate bank lenders in syndicated credit facilities.  Anna also represents lenders in troubled debt workouts, restructurings, and real and personal property foreclosures.

  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with $37,380,000 term facility for the acquisition of a retail center.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with $35,000,000 in term facility for the acquisition of 18 properties located in Michigan and Ohio.
  • Represented a financial institution in connection with $12,400,000 in credit facilities secured by franchise rights in quick-serve fast food restaurants.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with a $500,000,000 unsecured revolving line of credit.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with a $140,000,000 revolving line of credit.
  • Represented a corporate borrower in obtaining and negotiating a $135,000,000 term debt facility with a non-financial institution lender.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with $80,000,000 in revolving line of credit and term facilities for the acquisition of equity in a number of energy servicing companies.
  • Represented a corporate borrower in obtaining and negotiating a $45,000,000 term debt facility with a non-financial institution lender.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with a $40,000,000 revolving line of credit facility.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with revolving credit facilities totaling approximately $36,000,000 secured by numerous tracts of real estate located throughout the US.
  • Represented a financial institution acting as administrative agent in connection with a $31,150,000 construction loan facility.
  • Represented a financial institution in connection with a $2,500,000 revolving line of credit facility and an $18,000,000 Main Street Priority Loan Facility.
  • Represented financial institutions in various credit transactions (both bilateral and syndicated transactions) ranging in loan sizes from $1,000,000 to $40,000,000.
  • Represented a financial institution in connection with a $7,000,000 loan facility secured by utility development agreement receivables.
  • Represented a financial institution in connection with a $7,000,000 construction and renovation loan facility.
  • Represented a financial institution in a real estate foreclosure sale held in Harris County, Texas.
