Justin Cowan

One of my professors in law school highlighted the fact that no matter who they're representing (whether it's an indigent defendant or a corporate entity), lawyers have the privilege of acting as the literal and figurative voice for their clients. I think that privilege is incredibly meaningful. Because of this, I work hard to ensure that no stone is left unturned so I may best represent my clients no matter the circumstance.

Justin Cowan joined Gray Reed’s Litigation department after participating in the firm’s summer associate program in 2019.

While attending South Texas College of Law Houston, Justin was heavily involved in the school’s nationally recognized advocacy program. He received the Dean’s Outstanding Advocate Award in 2020, and he was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Justin was also a member of the South Texas Law Review
