Julia E. Bobbitt focuses her commercial litigation practice primarily in the construction industry. Julia assists her construction clients on the front end with contract negotiation and drafting. Julia continues to assist her clients throughout the project, and after, with payment disputes, liens and bonds, warranty, delays and impact claims. Her client list includes all players in the industry, including suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, project owners and design professionals.
Julia also focuses on indemnity and insurance coverage issues arising both during contract drafting and after a claim has arisen. Julia is experienced in analyzing complex insurance matters and providing coverage opinions and solutions for clients in need.
With a background in psychology and prior experience in jury consulting, Julia is often called on by attorneys across the firm to consult on various aspects of trial, including preparing and participating in voir dire and developing trial themes and strategies.
While attending The University of Texas School of Law, Julia received the Dean's Achievement Award for "Outstanding Student in Construction Litigation" and served as articles editor for The Review of Litigation.
