Julia E. Bobbitt
Associate

I approach every case with an eye for both legally significant and emotive facts. This allows me to build an effective and persuasive case for mediators, arbitrators, judges, as well as juries.

Julia E. Bobbitt focuses her commercial litigation practice primarily in the construction and insurance industries. Julia assists her construction clients with payment disputes, lien and bond claims, delays and defect claims.  Julia also assists her construction clients on the front end of projects with contract drafting and negotiating on their behalf.  Her client list includes all players in the industry, including suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors and project owners.

Julia also focuses on indemnity and insurance coverage issues arising both during contract drafting and after a claim has arisen.  Julia is experienced in analyzing and providing complex coverage opinions and solutions for clients in need.

With a background in psychology and prior experience in jury consulting, Julia is often called on by attorneys across the firm to consult on various aspects of trial, including preparing and participating in voir dire and developing trial themes and strategies.

Julia graduated with a B.S. in psychology from Texas Christian University and a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law. While attending law school, Julia received the Dean's Achievement Award for "Outstanding Student in Construction Litigation" and served as articles editor for The Review of Litigation.
