Kyle Benson joined Gray Reed in 2022 after serving as a Summer Associate in 2021 and law clerk in 2022. During this time, Kyle assisted the team with various M&A transactions and co-authored several M&A Insights articles. As an associate, Kyle continues to work closely with the firm’s M&A and Private Equity teams as well as assist in corporate and real estate matters.

Prior to joining Gray Reed, Kyle attended the University of Houston Law Center where he was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and Tax Executives Institute Scholarship. During law school, Kyle served as a General Administrative Editor on the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal and as a research assistant in the area of Health Law and Policy. Prior to law school, Kyle specifically tailored his studies within the areas of quantitative finance and statistics which allows him to more effectively understand clients’ needs and assist in complex matters.
