Gray Reed Partner Named to American Bankruptcy Institute’s 2021 “40 Under 40”

Gray Reed Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Partner Lydia Webb is recognized in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI)’s 2021 “40 Under 40”, an annual initiative that identifies 40 top industry professionals under age 40.

A compassionate advisor with deep experience handling every aspect of the bankruptcy process, Webb focuses her practice on representing and advising debtors, creditors, committees and post-confirmation trustees in bankruptcy cases and other insolvency or restructuring scenarios. She has guided clients in several industries - oil and gas, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, restaurants plus many more - to successful results in complex cases before courts throughout Texas and many other states, including Oklahoma, Delaware and New York.

“Lydia’s recognition as one of this year’s 40 Under 40 is well-deserved,” Gray Reed Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department Chair Jason Brookner says. “She is an incredible asset to Gray Reed and our clients, and represents the future of our profession.  I could not be happier or more proud.”

Honorees were chosen from both large and small firms from every region of the country, and represent diverse practice areas such as law, finance, consulting, academia, government and more. More than 200 candidates, each with outstanding records of professional achievement and community leadership, were evaluated by 20 judges.

“The 2021 honorees are a testament to the future of the insolvency profession, with exemplary accomplishments in both their careers and communities,” ABI Executive Director Amy Quackenboss says. “We look forward to this diverse collection of young leaders propelling ABI's full range of activities forward to advance the profession.”
