Gray Reed & McGraw Attorneys Elected to the Texas Wesleyan School of Law Alumni Association Board
Caroline Akers and Mark Bohon, both Associates at Gray Reed & McGraw, were elected to the Texas Wesleyan School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors. Ms. Akers was elected President and Mr. Bohon was elected a Board Member.
"Texas Wesleyan has given so much to me," Ms. Akers said. "I have always known our law school is exceptional and an invaluable resource for the legal community, and am honored to have the opportunity to serve as President of the Alumni Association to promote our law school, locally and nationally, to the next level of excellence."
Ms. Akers was elected to the Board in 2006 and was just re-elected to serve a second three year term. Prior to being elected President, she was elected Secretary for 2006 and 2007 and elected as Vice President for 2008. Ms. Akers 's law practice focuses on natural resources law with an emphasis on title examination. She primarily represents oil and gas companies in their exploration and production operations. She received her B.A. from The University of Texas at Arlington and her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
Mr. Bohon, who was just elected to the Board for the first time, focuses his law practice on energy law with an emphasis on title examination and corporate transactional work. He received both his B.A. and his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University.
