Rusty T. Tucker

I put my clients' interest first. When a client comes to me with a destination in mind, I provide them with a roadmap that will get them there in the most effective and efficient way possible.

Rusty Tucker advises energy clients on the entire range of transactions and issues that arise during oil and gas operations in Texas and many states across the country. He has prepared, reviewed and negotiated many different types of contracts and agreements, with a strong emphasis on purchase and sale agreements, production sharing agreements, oil-and-gas leases, assignments, deeds and family settlement agreements.

Rusty also conducts title examinations and renders opinions for producers with drilling operations throughout Texas and performs the same with local counsel in other jurisdictions, including Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Pennsylvania. As a former landman, primarily in the Anadarko and Permian Basins, Rusty has a unique perspective on the most important aspects of title examination, which allows him to focus on identifying practical ways for landmen to address complex issues quickly and proactively.
