Gray Reed Announces Dallas Managing Partner Change

Gray Reed announces that Darrell Armer will now serve as its Dallas Managing Partner, effective January 1, 2020. The role was previously filled by Andrew Meyercord who served from 2016 to 2019.  

“It’s been an honor to be Gray Reed’s Dallas Managing Partner since 2016,” Meyercord, who will continue to serve in the firm’s Executive Committee and as the Transactional Department Chair, says. “I know the office is in good hands with Darrell and I look forward to witnessing the positive impact I’m confident he will make in the years to come.”

Armer joined Gray Reed in 1996 and focuses his practice on structuring complex commercial transactions within the healthcare industry. Leader of the firm’s Healthcare Transactions Practice Group, he has over 20 years of experience managing all aspects of the organization, reorganization, funding, operation and merger/acquisition of a variety of providers, including hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physical therapy companies, diagnostic imaging centers, medical and dental practices, and home health agencies, as well as various provider networks. Armer is Board Certified in Health Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
