U.S. Senators Soon To Vote On Dead-End Anti-Discrimination Law

KUHF Radio
November 5, 2013
In just a few hours the U.S. Senate is expected to vote on the employment non-discrimination act that would ban workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. The legislation would create a new class of employees with protected status.

The act, known as ENDA, is not likely to pass the Republican-controlled House or become law. But there's growing support for anti-discrimination legislation, even among conservatives.
