Mona Deo joined Gray Reed in 2025 after serving as a Summer Associate in 2024. During her summer clerkship, she worked with the firm's transactional attorneys on various matters such as tax law, leases, and corporate research, gaining practical experience in transactional practice and client service.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mona worked for nearly three years as a tax consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm before attending law school. 

During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Business Tax Law Journal and Executive Chair of the Advocates.

Representative Experience
  • Assisted in representing NEC Inc., a Houston-based manufacturer of PVC-coated electrical conduit and fittings, in its control recapitalization by Valesco Industries, with co-investors Hidden River Strategic Capital and GMB Capital Partners, in partnership with NEC's founder and management team.
