Emily R. Morris

Emily Morris joined Gray Reed in 2025 after serving as a Summer Associate in 2023. Before returning to Gray Reed in 2026, Emily served as Chief Law Clerk for the Honorable Matthew J. Kacsmaryk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. As an associate, Emily combines a strong foundation in Business Management from Baylor University with her law degree from the University of Texas, where she served as Associate Editor for the Texas Law Review and Executive Editor for the Texas Review of Law & Politics.  

Emily pairs a detail-oriented, organized style of practice with a genuine ability to build personal, collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients alike. She is dedicated to listening carefully, thinking strategically, and communicating clearly—skills that assist in translating complex legal matters into tailored, practical guidance for her clients. With a measured and intentional approach, Emily is eager to craft solutions that are strategically sound, reliable and as thoughtful as they are effective.
