Vanessa Pierce

I turn my internal need for achievement into tangible results for my clients.

Vanessa Pierce assists clients in a variety of disputes involving commercial litigation, labor, employment, and OSHA matters, governmental and administrative law and maritime matters. In the courtroom, she has jury-trial experience delivering opening statements and direct and cross examination of witnesses. Vanessa also has considerable experience in taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, engaging in discovery, and arguing hearings in court and before administrative agencies.

While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for multiple Texas district judges, as well as the Honorable Barbara Houser and the Honorable Marialyn Barnard. She also served as the NAFTA Reporter for the SMU International Law Review Association and has published notable work in the Law and Business Review of the Americas.
