Justin Garber
Associate

Before becoming a lawyer, I worked in a highly regulated healthcare setting and coached varsity baseball—experiences that reinforced the value of preparation, communication, and teamwork. I bring that same approach to client matters by learning each client’s business and goals, collaborating closely with the team, and building a practical plan to manage risk and move forward.

During law school, Justin developed a practical foundation in transactional work through drafting, negotiation and advocacy. As a student attorney in Baylor Law’s Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, he worked with entrepreneurs and emerging businesses on legal matters related to launching and growing their ventures. He earned first-place honors in Baylor Law’s Intramural Negotiation Competition, second place in the L. Edward Bryant Jr. National Health Law Transactional Competition and awards recognizing his contributions to Baylor’s transactional law team and achievement in health care law.

Before law school, Justin spent nearly eight years at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he coordinated complex clinical research initiatives in a highly regulated environment. During that time, he also coached varsity baseball, an experience that reinforced the importance of preparation, clear communication and a team aligned around a shared goal. Together, these experiences shape Justin’s practical, steady approach to helping clients pursue their objectives and navigate consequential decisions.

Justin also served as president of the Federalist Society, vice president of the Christian Legal Society and a guest editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Law & Civil Governance. He was named the third-best speaker at the 2024 Faegre Drinker Moot Court Competition.
