Aaron Ball, a Member at Gray Reed & McGraw, was honored as one of the Houston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 recipients.  The business publication created the list to pay homage to business, community, government and non-profit leaders who have achieved impressive milestones in their careers and make significant contributions to Houston's overall quality of life.

"It is an honor to be recognized by my city for what I have done both in business and in the community," Mr. Ball said.

Mr. Ball's practice is concentrated in the manufacturing and oil & gas industries where he structures, negotiates and manages complex business transactions such as acquisitions and the planning and organization of business ventures. These transactions frequently involve corporate and tax planning issues in many different countries. Mr. Ball is experienced in working with foreign counsel and other professional advisors to plan sophisticated transactions and business structures such as holding companies, joint ventures, and other commercial arrangements.  In, addition to his admissions to practice in numerous U.S. jurisdictions, Mr. Ball is also admitted to the Law Society of England and Wales as a Solicitor.

In addition, Mr. Ball is very active in the Houston community. He graduated from Leadership Houston. Upon graduation, he founded and chaired Youth Leadership America, non-profit organization sponsoring youth leadership programs. He is on the selection committee for Leadership Houston, co-chair of the Houston Ballet's Ballet Ball Underwriting Committee, and honored as an "Empire State Counsel" for rendering more than 50 hours of free legal services to the poor by the New York Bar Association.
