Aaron Ball Licensed as a Solicitor in England and Wales

The law firm of Gray Reed & McGraw has announced that attorney Aaron Ball was licensed as a solicitor in England and Wales. There are only about 60 Texas attorneys who are also licensed solicitors practicing law in Texas today. Applicants must take a three-day Qualified Lawyers’ Transfer Test, the official bar exam for foreign attorneys, which tests familiarity with English statutes, cases, practice rules and the principles of common law, as well as the application of tax laws. Ball’s practice is concentrated in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries. He structures, negotiates and manages complex business transactions such as acquisitions and the planning and organization of business ventures. A majority of his practice involves corporate and tax planning in many different countries.
