Gray Reed Welcomes Two Associates

Gray Reed continues to grow with the addition of two associates in the firm's Dallas office, Laura Brandt (litigation) and Timothy Fandrey (construction).

Brandt focuses her legal practice on civil litigation and white collar defense. She has extensive experience representing highly visible clients in high-stakes litigation in wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury cases, where she has obtained numerous favorable settlements and verdicts for her clients. Her experience includes interviewing and deposing fact witnesses, preparing and deposing expert witnesses, drafting and arguing dispositive and pretrial motions, and defending cases at trial.

Brandt earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where she served as Lead Articles Editor for SMU Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Journalism, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri.

Fandrey understands construction and the business of construction. He represents contractors and subcontractors on a wide variety of construction matters including construction claims and litigation, lien and bond claims, giving of real time project advice and contract negotiation.

Prior to law school, Fandrey worked as a civil engineer for over four years, gaining experience in both the private and public sector. He designed dozens of bridges and roadways for the Missouri Department of Transportation. While working in the private sector, he developed project management skills by managing bridge and roadway design projects.

Fandrey earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from St. Louis University School of Law and his B.S. from University of Missouri.
