Gray Reed continues its growth with the addition of three attorneys, strengthening the firm's real estate, finance and corporate capabilities. Colin Cox and Kristina Rosado join from Porter Hedges, and Pearson Wolk joins from Chamberlain Hrdlicka. Cox joins the firm as a partner in the real estate practice, Rosado joins as an associate in the banking and finance practice and Wolk joins as an associate in the corporate and M&A practice.
Cox focuses on commercial real estate matters, representing developers, purchasers, sellers, borrowers, lenders and other stakeholders in acquisitions and dispositions across Texas and nationwide. He also advises landlords and tenants on a range of leasing matters, including office, retail, industrial and large commercial properties, bringing a practical, business-minded approach to negotiations. Before returning to private practice, Cox spent nearly three years as associate counsel in the legal department of Weingarten Realty Investors, a New York Stock Exchange-listed REIT. That in-house experience enables him to anticipate issues early and guide clients toward efficient, strategic solutions.
Rosado represents lenders and borrowers in a range of financing transactions, advising commercial banks and corporate clients on complex credit arrangements, including syndicated facilities, acquisition financings, working capital loans, construction loans and asset-based lending. She also has experience with commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and title and survey matters. Prior to entering private practice, she worked in the commercial title industry, bringing a strong transactional foundation and detail-oriented approach to client work.
Wolk focuses his practice on corporate and M&A matters, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, business succession transactions (including equity and non-equity incentives for key employees and management) and outside general counsel services. With a strong foundation in tax, he brings a holistic and analytical approach, identifying key considerations that impact transaction structure and long-term outcomes.
Together, Cox, Rosado and Wolk add depth to Gray Reed's platform and enhance the firm's ability to support clients across real estate, finance and corporate matters.
