Attorney Joel C. Thompson Joins Gray Reed & McGraw
Gray Reed & McGraw has further expanded its General Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation and Class Action practice groups with the addition of Joel C. Thompson as a Partner in the firm’s Houston office.
Thompson, who joins Gray Reed & McGraw from his own practice, has almost 25 years of experience as a civil trial lawyer with extensive experience in many different areas of litigation including products liability, wrongful death, insurance litigation, negligent security litigation, property damage, premise liability, construction litigation, DTPA and business torts.
Because his experience encompasses all aspects of litigation, he is well equipped to handle a diverse trial caseload. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in jury trials, bench trials, administrative proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution.
Thompson is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Past Director of Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Past Associate Director of Texas Trial Lawyers Association, and a past member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Baylor University School of Law. In addition, he has spoken at numerous events hosted by the State Bar of Texas, the University of Houston, the South Texas College of Law, The University of Texas at Austin, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Thompson received both his J.D. (1984) and his B.S. (1981) from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
