Four New Attorneys Join Gray Reed & McGraw

Gray Reed & McGraw welcomes new associates Tara Flume, Taylor Grove, Shruti Krishnan and Andrew Neal to the firm. Grove, Flume and Neal will practice with the Oil & Gas section; Grove in Houston, and Flume and Neal in Dallas. Krishnan joins the Healthcare section in Dallas.

Tara Flume's practice will focus on title examination. Prior to joining the team at Gray Reed, Flume held an internship with Hunt Oil Company's legal department. She graduated with honors from the SMU Dedman School of Law in 2011 and from Texas A&M University in 2008. While in law school, Flume was the Assistant Managing Editor for The International Lawyer and Law and Business Review of the Americas.

Taylor Lamb's practice will focus on title examination. She received her B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and her J.D. from UCLA where she was an articles editor for the UCLA Journal of Law & Technology. After receiving her J.D., Grove worked at the White House in the Executive Office of the President as a staff assistant where she was responsible for coordinating communications, policies and logistics between the White House and the Cabinet.

Shruti Krishnan's practice will focus on healthcare transactional law. Krishnan graduated cum laude from the SMU Dedman School of Law. She also received her M.S. in biochemistry from the University of Texas Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and her B.S. in bioinformatics and molecular biology from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. While in school at SMU, Krishnan worked as an intellectual property law research assistant for Professor Xuan-Thao Nguyen and as a student attorney in the SMU Civil Legal Clinic.

Andrew Neal's practice will focus on title examination. After receiving his J.D., Neal went into private practice examining mineral title to determine ownership, analyzing complex oil and gas related issues including fractured ownership, equitable subrogation of liens, mineral reservations, strip and gore doctrine, lease pooling provisions and curative requirements; and drafting drilling title opinions for clients. Neal received his B.A. from Wheaton College in Illinois and his J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law where he was an associate editor for the St. Mary's Law Journal. Prior to law school, he worked as a landman for major oil and gas companies in Texas.
