Gray Reed Welcomes Five Associates

Gray Reed is thrilled to welcome five former summer associates as full-time attorneys. These lawyers will strengthen the firm's transactional and litigation practices. 

Max Brown joins the litigation department in Houston after participating in the firm’s 2018 summer associate program. While at Baylor Law School, he was a member of the Baylor Barrister’s Society and an active participant in Baylor's advocacy programs for three years, competing in numerous moot court and mock trial competitions. He also served as the student coach for Baylor's 2019 Voir Dire "Show Me" Challenge competition.

London England joins the litigation department in Dallas after participating in the firm’s 2017 summer associate program. As a summer associate she gained experience in complex litigation matters, employment law and bankruptcy. During law school at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, England served as the Senior Articles Editor for the Science and Technology Law Review. Following law school, she served a one-year clerkship with The Honorable Kimberly Priest Johnson in the Eastern District of Texas. 

Ryan Frankel joins the litigation department in Houston after participating in the firm’s 2018 summer associate program. During law school at The University of Texas School of Law, he served on the editorial board for The Review of Litigation, was a member of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law and was involved with several moot court and mock trail competitions. Frankel gained experience as an intern for Judge Dena Palermo, Southern District of Texas and as an attorney ad litem for The University of Texas School of Law's Children's Rights Clinic.

Annie Lindsley joins the transactional department in Dallas after participating in the firm’s 2018 summer associate program. Her practice is primarily focused on healthcare and securities matters, including SEC compliance and public and private offerings. During law school at The University of Texas School of Law, Lindsley was a member of the Texas Law Review and staff editor for the Texas International Law Journal and the Texas Environmental Law Journal. She also participated in The University of Texas School of Law's Children's Rights Clinic where she honed her advocacy skills and represented children in cases involving abuse and neglect. Lindsley also served as a judicial intern for the Sixth Court of Appeals.

Trenton Patterson joins the litigation department in Dallas after participating in the firm’s 2018 summer associate program. As a summer associate, he worked closely with litigation partners to resolve disputes involving high-stakes bankruptcy, oil and gas contracts, employment agreements and real estate transactions. During law school at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Patterson gained valuable experience as a summer law clerk for CenterPoint Energy and the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office. He also had the privilege of serving as Chief Counsel of the VanSickle Family Law Clinic at SMU where he represented indigent clients in divorce proceedings and advocated for children in tumultuous living situations.
