Gray Reed is proud to announce that Evangeline “Evie” Lalangas, an associate in the firm’s healthcare section, has been selected to D Magazine's 2019 list of Best Lawyers Under 40.
Lalangas brings an insider’s perspective to the firm’s healthcare and business services expertise. Having worked for health-related nonprofits and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, she not only understands the legal issues surrounding the healthcare industry, but also the policy and business concerns. Her unique vantage point gives her an intimate understanding of her clients’ perspectives, and enables her to help them achieve their goals in the healthcare field and beyond.
Lalangas earned her B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University and her JD and M.P.H. - Health Policy from St. Louis University. In law school, she served as lead editor for the SLU Journal of Health Law & Policy and received the SLU Law Academic Excellence Award in 2011 and 2012. She's also a four-year merit scholar with the National Scottish Rite Foundation.
D Magazine's 2019 Best Lawyers Under 40 list is determined through a peer‐review voting process, with ballots submitted by thousands of area lawyers. The final list was compiled by an independent panel of distinguished attorneys working in conjunction with the magazine's editors, according to the publication.
The complete list is featured in the January 2019 edition of D Magazine and available online at http://www.dmagazine.com.
