Gray Reed & McGraw attorney Joe Royce was recently honored with Phi Delta Theta’s Raymond L. Gardner Alumnus of the Year Award. The Gardner Award, first presented in 1960, is a national award presented annually to the alumnus who best exemplifies the teachings of Phi Delta Theta through his involvement in higher education and community service.
A member of the Texas State Bar since 1966, Royce focuses his practice on estate planning, family wealth protection and transfer, administration of estates and trusts, and the operation of private foundations. He is a board member of several trusts and foundations, an active alumnus of Southwestern University and a 20-year member of the Trustees Roundtable of Phi Delta Theta foundation. Royce earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University and his J.D. from The University of Texas Law School.
