Meagan Glover represents clients in commercial litigation matters with a focus on business, insurance, and labor and employment disputes.  She has experience in state, federal, and appellate courts.  During law school Meagan served as Head Articles Editor of the Houston Journal of International Law and competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition.

Representative Experience

  • Represented companies in the energy, construction, and real estate industries in business litigation involving contract, warranty, fiduciary duty, fraud, shareholder oppression, and trade secret disputes
  • Defended hospitals against claims of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and hostile work environment in state and federal courts and before the EEOC
  • Represented insurers in coverage disputes and declaratory judgment actions involving duty to defend and indemnify under liability policies, including professional liability, excess, and D&O
  • Successfully defended private correctional facility in civil rights action and Fifth Circuit appeal
  • Successfully obtained dismissal on behalf of global pharmaceutical manufacturer in multiparty action brought under the Antiterrorism Act
  • Successfully obtained dismissal on behalf of oilfield service provider in products liability action involving offshore gas well blowout
  • Successfully defended publicly traded manufacturer in wrongful death and personal injury cases involving products liability claims
  • Successfully obtained dismissal on behalf of national financial institution against claim of fraud
  • Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of oilfield service provider in breach of contract and negligence case brought by operator and working interest owner
  • Obtained favorable settlement on behalf of hospital in premises liability action
