Kristi Harbord
Associate

Understanding clients' needs and goals is my top priority, and I carefully navigate healthcare regulations to offer solutions that are pragmatic and ethical, aligning with their objectives.

Kristi Harbord focuses her practice on healthcare transactions and regulatory compliance. She advises healthcare providers and entities regarding structuring arrangements and compliance with federal and state statutes and regulations, including HIPAA, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, the No Surprises Act, the 21st Century Cures Act, and Information Blocking Rules. Kristi also advises on contractual matters including drafting and reviewing service agreements, managed care contracts, and arrangements with vendors.

While in law school, Kristi gained valuable experience through internships at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Parkland Hospital, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of the General Counsel. These internships provided her with hands-on exposure to the healthcare industry, further preparing her for a career in healthcare law.
