George L.  Diamond
Senior Counsel

My commitment to a client extends beyond simply providing legal counsel. Years of experience as general counsel of a niche financial consulting firm enables me to evaluate every facet of a transaction so as to provide a comprehensive assessment of the matter. Understanding the mosaic that evolves during the life of a transaction allows me to provide my clients with the precise level of attention needed for a successful, cost-efficient outcome.

With over 25 years of experience in corporate and securities matters, George Diamond focuses his practice on negotiating and structuring domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private debt and equity placement transactions, and the preparation of registration statements, proxy statements and related SEC, Blue Sky and FINRA compliance documents. Since 2005, he has been a principal of and general counsel for HFG Consulting, LLC, which is an international financial advisory services group.

George’s clients include major players and emerging companies across a variety of industries – manufacturing, services, energy, real estate, biotech plus many more – and they rely on him to handle issues beyond simply documenting their transactions. He also serves as a storyteller clearly describing deals to participants and helping clients avoid the risks associated with a particular transaction or strategy. George has built strong relationships within the investment banking community, and he often quarterbacks teams of investment bankers, market makers and transfer agents to help clients attract investors and realize their goal of becoming a publicly traded company in the U.S.
