(Houston) – Gray Reed & McGraw tax and corporate associate Austin Carlson was named a 2015 Rising Star by Today’s CPA, a publication of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
Carlson’s practice focuses on corporate transactions, tax planning and controversy, and trust and estate planning. He works with multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals to successfully achieve planning goals and resolve tax controversies. Carlson sits on the board of directors for both the TSCPA and the Houston Society of CPAs. He’s also the International Tax Committee Chair for the State Bar of Texas Tax Section.
TSCPA’s Rising Stars Program recognizes CPA members under the age of 40 who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and active involvement in the organization, their profession and communities. Carlson was one of eighteen selected to receive this honor.
