Gray Reed & McGraw welcomes Jason Emmitte as an associate in the Oil & Gas section of its Dallas office. Mr. Emmitte focuses his practice on oil, gas and mineral law transactions. Mr. Emmitte's practice includes preparation of original, drill site, supplemental and acquisition title opinions in conjunction with oil, gas and mineral properties throughout Texas.  He also provides legal counsel for clients on leasing, title acquisition and compliance issues, the application of joint operating agreements, participation agreements, purchase sale agreements, farm-out agreements and other title instruments which include assignments, unit designations and deeds.

After receiving his B.S. Texas A&M University in 2002, Mr. Emmitte attended the South Texas School of Law where he obtained his J.D. in 2005.  Currently he is active in many professional organizations including the Fort Worth Association of Professional Landmen, Dallas County Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Section.
